This branch of the Detroit Public Library was designed by Wirt C. Rowland and August O'Dell in 1940. This is one of three Gothic arches at the library's facade. This building has been shuttered for repairs and the community is serviced by the Mark Twain Annex in another building. I drove by recently and the letters had been removed. N.B.
